The platform leverages Computer Vision (CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to translate sign language into text or voice, and voice into animated sign language, enabling real-time, two-way conversation between hearing and non-hearing participants.

The solution supports American Sign Language (ASL) and Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ/QSL) translations, with real-time processing that runs on existing devices without specialized hardware. A proof-of-concept module demonstrates accurate detection and translation of common words and phrases, powered by underlying technology that analyzes body movement, facial expressions, and hand and finger shapes to interpret sign language with precision.

Built with adaptability in mind, the platform's machine learning foundation allows it to extend to additional sign languages over time, expanding its reach beyond ASL and LSQ.
